My Lioness

This is the piece I've made for my woman on Valentine's Day. And I'm happy with it. It doesn't do her justice - nothing that is man-made does - but I like the face, the stance, the proportions, the armour and the sword. And seeing as that's everything, I like it.

I'm giving it to Her tonight. And I sure as hell am nervous about it.

PS: It also serves to show how painting isn't my strong point - this was done with coloured pencils. Still, the gold looks properly oldish and both the skin and the fabric of the kilt turned out good.
