His father's son by Greyall His father's son by Greyall
You know how I said it was all about 40K for me, these days? Yeah, I've gone back to playing WoW. Fear not, though, there are 40K pieces nearing completeness.

So, read this with David Attenborough's voice:

Here, we have two males of the orcish variety engaging in a duel for control his their egos. Interestingly, the larger one, a Death Knight I've affectionately named 'Skhull', is the other's (Khornoz) father. Now, why so cliché'd a name for such a majestic being? Well, it's a rather amusing tale: if you observe the specimen with the utmost attention, you will notice his visage has thoroughly and absolutely been turned into a fucking wreck.

Not entirely satisfied with this piece, mainly because - you can stop the David Attenborough thing, now -, mainly because I decided to have each piece of Khornoz's armor (Tier 4-inspired) lined with a wider line...he looks like a raging Lego, as a result. But hey, at least he has the Azerothian version of a chainaxe.

I love this piece. I wish I had this framed and hanging on my wall!

If this is what comes from playing wow, you definetly do not want to stop. I just think it is an amazing piece of artwork, the characters are very dymanic, well balanced, and full of detail. There is absolutely nothing I can put my finger on, in this picture. Very well done - you can be proud!

Well, your comment sure gives me another perspective on a piece I didn't really like - well, half of it, at least.

All things considered, I guess it is WoW I have to thank for the most when it comes to inspiration.

But comments like yours do help a lot. A big thank you, mate.
