High Marshall Ludoldus of the Black Templars. The Templars' fluff speaks of two Crusades lead by Ludoldus, but separated by many years, which would make the Marshall around 1.500 years old. Another one of 40K's mysteries.

This is my last drawing of 2012 (unless some miracle happens). One hell of a year in the artistic department.

Thank you very much to all of you, guys. Hope you like this guy.

PS: The overall design and specific elements like the sword, chains on the wrists and left shoulder pad belong to the friend who requested this fellow.

His battle-barge might have spent four weeks travelling from the first Crusade to the next, but have actually come back out in realspace a few hundred years later. Warp travel is like that, after all.
