I think you're on the right path, mate, definitely. About the only thing I can tell you is to work more on your proportions, because the rest is definitely going to get better in time.
You sir are capable artist and from now on I'll look anxiously for your further submissions. Wh40k junkie here so my addiction to wh40k art or just my personal daemon is pleased!
